fuse studio ARCHITECTS is an intentionally small award-winning modern design firm. We have expertise in single & multi-family residential, small commercial, hospitality, restaurant, art spaces and project management of large scale artworks. We specialize not in a project type but in a passionate and intentional approach to problem solving based on a strong foundation of teamwork and communication. We are absolutely modern architects with an intense focus on the “feel” of a space and its impact on those experiencing the space. We believe that great design allows each element to reinforce and strengthen the whole without detracting or demanding attention. Elegance and simplicity are pivotal to our work, while intent and passion drive our work.

Chris Jahn founded fuse studio after spending years in a couple of Colorado’s most exceptional firms specializing in large civic works and custom modern mountain homes. He opened fuse studio while in parallel exploring a number of decidedly less traditional paths including: designing, rebranding and developing a national franchise program for a rapidly growing fast-casual restaurant chain. Developing industrial building expertise, and learning about bureaucratic process management, with the Colorado Department of Transportation. Managing large scale public art projects for international artists in high profile civic spaces and buildings including those by luminaries such as Ponti, Leibeskind and (for a while) Holl. Teaching studios as an adjunct lecturer for several years at the University of Colorado, Boulder…. All while managing fuse studio as a sole proprietor through a series of varied small scale design focused projects.

All of that was followed by a long stint of creating international award-winning architecture as co-principal at one of Denver’s top boutique design firms. Professional service includes the Denver Public Art Commission, the American Institute of Architects and the Denver Architecture Foundation.

And now fuse studio is back and seeking great collaborations… We are absolutely modern architects and believe in modern sensibilities but not a set architectural language. We are seeking opportunities with great people wanting to achieve exceptional solutions.
